As my mom says..."the second child is the adventurous one!" Nathan loves to try anything. The only thing I know of that this kid does not like are loud noises!
Our neighbors have a trampoline & so one day the kids were jumping on it & I asked if I could just have Nathan sit on it to see his reaction...well he loved it. The next day, the kids were out on it again & Ryan wanted to jump, so out we went. Ryan climbed on & Nathan wanted up too! I was a bit nervous because there were some older boys on the trampoline that started to bounce him, but oh how he loved it. They would bounce him all around, bounce him off his feet etc., and all Nathan did was laugh, stand up and do it again!
This child truly has NO FEAR!!!!!! (I just hope he doesn't try to send his mommy to her grave early!!!)

No Fear!!!!
Hanging Around!
Nathan is the character of our family. He is always doing something to make us laugh or giggle. One day at the end of February, the boys & I were playing at London & Reece's house. The boys got a game out that included some nets to catch "butterflies" with. Instead of catching butterflies...Nathan caught himself!
Another thing he loves to do, is sit in Ryan's Adirondack chair. He loves to just sit it in & "chill." He is becoming a true boy & he is only 17 months old!

I've been tagged TWICE by my awesome sister-in-law Marie. So I will do one & then the other!!!
A. 6 Relatively Unknown facts/about about me!
The rules are as follows:1. The player lists 6 relatively unknown facts/habits about themselves.2. At the end of the post, the player tags 6 people and posts their names, and then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog for the rules.
1. A nickname given to me during my interpreting years at UVSC & BYU that only other interpreters know about. Co-workers & friends grew weary of saying Bianucci (my maiden name) all the time so they simplified it & started calling me "Nuch". It was catchy & fun. There are still a few friends that still use it in fact!
2. I am a Christmas baby! Yup that is right. I was born on Christmas day (although most people that read my blog already knew that, but it is still obscure!) But here is something most people don't know...I was brought home from the hospital in a Christmas Stocking & I finally saw it for the first time this year!
3. In second grade I played "Charlie" in "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory". I cried the first time I had to put my costume on, because I looked so much like a boy (duh, that was the point!) I was supposed to play "Violet Boagard", but the other girl they had playing Charlie didn't have a loud enough voice, so we switched!
4. I played the French Horn for one year in high school. I had played the flute since 6th grade, but my sophomore year, another french horn was needed & I volunteered. there was no way I was going to play the Tuba...that is way bigger than me!
5. I sang in a Children's choir for about 7 years & we won an international competition the year before we moved. The neat thing was the competition was at the Oakland Temple at the stake center that is adjacent to it! Of course I sang alto for all 7 years.
6. Matt & I planned our wedding in 7 weeks! We decided to get married at the very end of May & I had to be back at work to get ready for the upcoming fall semester by August 1 & Matt would start school again at BYU before things would slow down for me at UVSC in September. Neither one of us wanted to wait until Christmas break (I didn't want to get married that close to my birthday) so we decided to plan a fast wedding & get married in July! So now we share our anniversary with my Dad's birthday!
B. Fives...
1. 5 years ago...I was working as a freelance interpreter & enjoying newlywed life
2. 5 months ago... hmm November, getting ready for Thanksgiving & Christmas, being glad Nathan's first birthday party had come & gone. Enjoying our new house & life with my family. Oh...I was also waiting for my doctor's appointment to see if I could have my surgery or not!
3. 5 things that worry me...Am I teaching my children the things they need to know to live in the world today, being a good wife, money (of course), being the best that I can be, & being healthy for my family
4. 5 bad habits...staying up way to late, not exercising, spending too much time on the computer, not doing pre-school with Ryan, not wanting to do housework!
5. 5 favorite places I've lived...Bend, OR; Monmoth, OR; Vancouver, WA; Springville, UT; Eagle Mountain, UT (those are most of the places I've lived)
6. 5 favorite things to blog about... Ryan, Nathan, funny things that happen, my family, my kids!!!
7. 5 greatest blessings...My family (Matt, Ryan & Nathan), the gospel, my parents, my testimony, my friends
Ok...now for those that I tag... Angie, Lisa, Anna, Elizabeth, & Kami. You are supposed to do this little activity & then post it on your blog & then tag other people you know that have a blog!! Have fun

Presidents Day Weekend - Day 3
Monday, We went sledding in Springville with Steve, Angie, Lonon, Reece, Marshall, Kaiya, & Maw-May. Everyone had a blast. This was Ryan's first time "really sledding". At first I think he was a bit scared and nervouse, but by the end of the day he was having a blast! I was an on-looker & picture taker as there was no-way my doctor was going to let me go sledding so soon after my surgery! We all had fun & then afterwards Maw-Maw treated us to a great lunch in Spanish Fork.
I had way too many pictures of this wonderful outing, so I decided to do a slideshow. Have fun watching them all!

Presidents Day Weekend - Day 1
What a weekend it was!!! My brother Greg, his wife, Becca, & their cute little girl, Kaiya came for a visit over president's day weekend. This was the first time that Matt has seen Kaiya & our second. Friday afternoon, they came over to visit & play before heading back to GranDee & Grandpa John's house. Of course we took a ton of pictures of the three kids playing & interacting together. It isn't everyday that Ryan & Nathan get to play with their cousin Kaiya.
Matt was a jungle gym to the kids for a little bit as they all climbed on him...
Kaiya loved the little tunnels that Nathan got for Christmas. Soon all three kids were crawling through them & having "races"...
I am not sure what it is about toddlers & chairs. They are attracted to each other. Nathan loves to crawl around, in & through the legs of chairs, & come to find out so does Kaiya...
What common household item is a favorite toy of children of all ages???? The laundry basket. Yup, that's right, Ryan loves it, Nathan loves it & so does Kaiya. Uncle Greg stacked all 3 kids into the basket & pulled them around the house. Here are some cute pictures of the three of them all snuggled up together ready to wash!!!!
