Ryan's "Adopted" Brother

Ryan keeps telling me that he wants me to have another baby. More specifically, a baby brother! He has even told me, I can have a baby boy one day & the very next day a baby girl! Hmm...don't think it woks that way!
For the time being Ryan can be a big brother to Benjamin (our friend/neighbor's boy). Ryan can get Benjamin to laugh & smile. Here are some cute pictures of the two of them.

Not only has Ryan "adopted" Benjamin as his bother, Nicole & Curtis have adopted our kids. Both Nathan & Ryan love to play with Nicole & Curtis. It has been fun to watch them interact with the Hansens. And believe it or not, Nathan doesn't even cry if we leave him with Nicole & he loves to give her hugs & kisses!!!!

Our New toy

With some of our tax money we decided to splurge & buy a Wii. It has been a lot of fun for all of us. Ryan tries his best to play the games that we have. He is slowly getting better! I think the funnest part of having a Wii is getting to play with friends. After Matt's birthday party on the 20th, The Hansens (Nicole, Curtis & Benjamin) came over to have some friendly competition! The Hansen's boy, Benjamin, would not go to sleep & stay that way, so Nicole spent a lot of her time holding him (she didn't do to bad at bowling either!).

Ryan loves to have Curtis play with him & it is fun to watch them do so. We have enjoyed having the Wii & I am sure we will have more fun with it, in the future too!

Daddy's Birthday...London's too!

This year we celebrated Daddy's birthday twice! Saturday night we had some friends come over for dinner, cake & fun. Of course I forgot to take pictures of that celebration! On Sunday, his actual birthday we had all our family over. Not only did we celebrate Dad's birthday, but London's too, since they share the same day, just 27 years apart! Here are some fun pictures of London & Matt & all the festivities of the night!

Happy Birthday to You!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

...Make that T-Ball Game!

Ryan is playing T-Ball this year. He has really enjoyed it. He loves the fact that Daddy is the assistant coach & calls him Coach Daddy! Here are some pictures from his first game! He has improved quite a bit & had a couple of really good hits this past weekend!

Ryan in his uniform...yes the shirt is a bit big & so is the hat!!!

His first at-bat!

Running to 1st... he was one of the few kids who did not chase after the ball when they hit it

Yeah...he made it to 1st base! Stomping on the base to make sure he tagged it!

Out in the field!

GO HEDGE HOGS!!!!!!

Pink Boots are Made for Walkin'

At the beginning of April we watched my brothers' children while he went out with his wife. We watched their 6 year old girl & 2 year old boy. Our niece, London wore her pink boots that night. After we had our boys ready for bed, we let them play until their cousins went home. Nathan has been into putting other peoples' shoes on & trying to walk in them. As you can probably guess, Nathan find London's pink boots & put them on! It was such a cute thing, I couldn't pass up taking pictures. Nathan thought they were great!

Silly boys!

Wow it sure has been a while since my last post! I guess life has just gotten away from me. I will try to get everything updated in the next few days.

These are just some fun pictures of the Ryan & Nathan. Of course Nathan, is our dare devil & a ham! One of his signature positions is putting both fingers in his ears & walking around that way. In this picture he kept putting binkis in his ears instead.

Nathan also makes some pretty silly faces...here is the proof...

Both of the boys love music. We don't have any kid instruments for them to use. But one day Matt & I were making dinner & the boys bring Ryan's Tinkertoy & Play dough bins out into the kitchen to serenade Dad & I while we prepared dinner.

I was very impressed with their imagination & creativity.
