This past Thursday, I hosted my first official Girls Night. Not only was it the first time I hosted, but it was also the first one that I would have been able to go to. Matt usually has to work on Girls Night, but now that he has switched to produce and works in the mornings I can now go.
For Girls Night, January 2008 we had a game night. I think it really ended up being more of a "gab" night, but that is always fun too. We played a few games too (Scene It, Friends Edition (we all stunk at that except Alicia), Apples to Apples, & Catch Phrase. 
A few girls hang out until about 11:30 just talking. It was actually a nice break from the monotony of being a mom (not that being a mom in the same, but it was good to have a break from the kids!). I hope everyone had a good time and felt welcome in my home!!!
